Help remove nails/staples from the office floors and sand down rough floorboards. If volunteers have belt sanders, they are welcome to bring. Volunteers will be using hand tools and crouching down on the floor.
Volunteers should bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Water and snacks will be provided.
The shelter address is 75 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. BES rents space from Christ Church UCC with takes up the whole block, with our entrance on Walnut Street of the building.
There is no on-site parking, but street parking nearby. Volunteers should be mindful of street signs posted with parking limits.
