Help prepare flooring for painting in shelter dorm rooms. Volunteers will be asked to scrape up particle boarding, remove nails, and sand down troublesome spots. Tools will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.
This project will be broken up into two days: July 16th & July 23rd 9a-12p.
Volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes. Water and snacks will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
The entrance is on the Walnut Street side of the building. There is no parking on site, but there is street parking nearby. Please take notice of street signs for hourly parking and street cleaning days.
