Help Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering rip out old carpets from the dorm rooms and put a new coat of paint down for next season's shelter guests. There will be 3 dorm rooms spread over two separate floors to rip carpet from. Two of the rooms will be sanded down and painted. The third room will be finished at a later date in the summer.
Youth 14 years and older may volunteer with Legal Guardian present.
Expect to be bending down and lifting things up. Gloves and masks will be provided.
Wear clothing that can become dirty, closed toed shoes, and a water bottle.
Snacks and water will be provided.
Location: 75 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Walnut Street entrance of the building.
There is not any onsite parking, but there is street parking nearby.
